AIB customers warned of a new scam currently doing the rounds across Ireland.
Some customers are reporting receiving a text message telling them that their card has been used for an ‘online transaction.’ The text then calls for the customer to click a link and enter their banking details on a legitimate-looking website.
If the customer enters their details, money is likely to be taken from their account.
AIB authorities have warned that these texts are fraudulent, and should be discarded and reported immediately.
