
Management at one of the country’s biggest banks AIB have released statement reassuring all their customers that they will not lose any money as a result of yesterday technical difficulties.
A senior banking official said: “All services are now operating as normal,” a statement from the bank read.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused to customers today while we experienced some technical issues.
“We want to assure customers that they will not be out of pocket as a result of this.”
The statement comes after the bank experienced a number of technical difficulties throughout Thursday which left thousands of customers being unable to access their accounts.
