One of the country’s leading retailers has called on the public to wear face masks whilst shopping in their stores.
In a tweet the popular retailer Aldi called on the public to follow Government advice and wear face masks whilst attending their stores.
The tweet reads as follows: “It is best practice for all customers and staff to wear a face covering in our stores.”
“Our store colleagues may remove their mask while serving you at a till as a fitted protective screen is in place.
“We would like to thank you for your cooperation & shopping safely in our stores.”
The plea comes after the Government confirmed last week that it will make the wearing of face masks mandatory in retail and indoor settings.
