Alec Baldwin, best known over recent years for his Donald Trump performance on Saturday Night Live is “co-operating” with police tonight in relation to the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins, a 42-yr-old mother of one and director of photography on the set of Rust.
She was transported to hospital via helicopter but was sadly pronounced dead by medical personnel at University of New Mexico Hospital.
Director Joel Souza was also shot by Baldwin and was transported to Christus St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Centre by ambulance for care. It’s understood he was badly wounded by will live.
It’s not yet known how the prop gun was discharged or what exactly happened to lead Alec Baldwin to shoot the young woman dead and injury the director.
