Gardai have issued an alert this morning, as convicted rapist Trevor Byrne has been spotted loitering around the grounds of the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
Pictures of the criminal have been posted around the facility, and the security team are on high alert.
Byrne has a long history of sex offences, and has spent a large part of his adult life in prison.
