There’s been a stern warning to hay fever and Asthma sufferers for this weekend as pollen levels are expected to soar.
People are advised to share this information with their friends and family who suffer from either condition.
The Asthma Society of Ireland have warned those with either illness to take precautions as weed pollen levels are expected to rise due to the expected warm, dry and humid conditions.
The Asthma Society say: “Many people with asthma suffer from hay fever, whether seasonally or all year round. It’s not uncommon for uncontrolled hay fever to lead to an increase in asthma symptoms and as such, managing your hay fever is a key part of controlling your asthma.”
