Dublin Bus have confirmed that they are recruiting for new drivers after they placed an advertisement on their website.
In a move that will increase the company’s workforce, Dublin Bus say they are looking for people who can operate a bus safely and efficiently.
It is understood the company are willing to offer an annual salary of up to €44,700 for new recruits.
The positions are seemingly made all the sweeter as the company also say new drivers could be entitled to a number of benefits including a pension and free bus travel after 12 months.
However Dublin Bus have revealed that the majority of the new positions available will require recruits to work late shifts initially.
In order to qualify for a position, Dublin Bus say applicants must hold a Category B driving licence and a valid Category D buses learner’s permit.
