All work at the National Children’s Hospital to stop during Covid-19 outbreak




Construction company BAM has confirmed that all work on the National Children’s Hospital has stopped with immediate effect.

In a statement BAM confirmed that construction work ceased following a meeting with the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board.

It is understood that work at the site was suspended in wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The National Paediatric Hospital Development Board deemed the current work at the site as non-essential.

Meanwhile BAM said that the health and safety of their staff was a top priority.

They added that all construction work will resume once it is safe to do so.
