Gardai have launched a campaign to try and stop people drink driving, especially over Christmas.
They say that one in four drivers have admitted to being over the limit the morning after a night out drinking. Gardai say that people are asked to think before they drink and not to get behind the wheel of a car if they’ve had too much to drink.
It’s expected that gardai will be holding drink-driving checkpoints over Christmas.
