Halloween masks, supposedly made to resemble the Covid-19 virus, were withdrawn from sale on Amazon’s website after complaints from customers. The bright green and red masks with smiley faces were advertised on Amazon for around €15. They were released from Guangdong, China, with the title ‘Corona Halloween Mask’ and ‘Corona Latex Horror Mask’. The company selling it is listed as YTFU EU.
Many people complained that the masks were utterly disgraceful to the millions around the world who were directly affected by the pandemic and by those who are trying to avoid contracting it.
