Matthew McConaughey calls out anti-Christian sentiment in Hollywood

Academy award winning actor Matthew McConaughey may well about to become a target of an angry backlash after he spoke out about anti-Christian sentiment prevalent in Hollywood and his refusal to support demands to “defund” the police in the US.

McConaughey made the statements on Joe Rogan’s podcast, another celebrity who has become the target of progressive bile for questioning their dogma on some issues.

When pushed by Rogan to expand on his concerns about the anti-Christ mentality of Hollywood, McConaughey explained that he had “seen people read the room” and elect not to clap during his acceptance speeches, when he mentions his faith, under the fear that doing so:
“wouldn’t bode well for [them] in the future for getting a job or getting votes or what have you.”

The Reign of Fire star also referenced “out friend” Professor Jordan Peterson and agreed with Joe Rogan that some in Hollywood become so entrenched in left wing dogma they become “illiberal”.

No doubt McConaughey will now join other stars such as Chris Pratt who have become the latest targets of cancel culture. The Jurassic World star was first targeted for expressing his own Christian faith publicly and this attack has recently been renewed after he didn’t expressly support Joe Biden for president and fund raise for the Democratic nominee.
