An American police officer was “ambushed and executed” while sitting in his patrol car in front of his Arkansas Post.
Policeman Stephen Carr was attacked by an armed man in the town of Fayetteville on Saturday night.
At 9.22 pm there were shots behind the police station. When the police investigated, there were more shots.
The armed suspect confronted the police, who were following him in a nearby alley where he was shot before returning to the back of the building and finding Officer Carr, who had been shot dead in his car. Patrol.
He was waiting in the parking lot for his partner when the shooting took place.
Fox report that Police chief Mike Reynolds told reporters the gunman’s motivation was unknown, adding: “It appears the suspect came into the back parking lot and just executed my officer.”
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but the officer and suspected gunman died of their injuries.
