Grim news on the employment front this afternoon, as An Post has announced the closure of its Mail Centre in Cork, with a loss of up to 200 jobs.
It is understood that staff will be given the option to re-deploy somewhere else or accept a redundancy package.
The facility will close on a phased basis between 2019 and March 2020.
