An Post to release new stamps to honour Ireland’s Paralympic cycling stars

It has been a great week for Irish cycling at the Rio Paralympics and it now seems Ireland’s cycling stars are to to be immortalised by An Post who have launched a set of new “Cycling in Ireland” stamps to honour their success.

An Post say they have decided to release the new stamps following the recent triumphs of Irish paracyclists Eoghan Clifford, Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal who claimed three medals for Ireland on Wednesday.

The postal service say the 72c stamps will showcase four different forms of cycling – commuting and safety, family and leisure, sportive and charity and high-performance and competition.
