Originally 10 days, Dublin Bus have decided that they need to threaten to hold the capital to ransom next month by announcing 13 full days in total of striking.
Already striking today and again tomorrow, the strike is costing €600,000 a day in combined earnings and losses to businesses.
The dates that will make getting to school, work and around extremely awkward as possible for the 400,000 affected commuters, are as follows: September 27/28, October 1st, 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 26th and again on October 29th.
One Dublin Bus driver claims:
“We will strike all day every day until we get what we want”.
