An Post is warning customers that a TV Licence scam is currently doing the rounds.
The scam involves an email saying that the customer’s licence is about to expire. It includes a link to a website where people are asked to enter their card details to ‘renew’ the licence. Needless to say, this leads to financial fraud.
Customers are advised to ignore this email and report it to An Post or Gardai.
