It is believed that paedophile surgeon Michael Shine could be released from prison next month.
According to the Irish Mirror and Irish Sunday Mirror, the convicted paedophile was sentenced to 4 years in prison in 2019 for his crimes which involved assaulting seven young boys over three decades.
The news that Shine could be getting ready to walk free has horrified his victims, with one saying that he was dreading the day the paedophile gets out of jail.
Patrick Cusack was abused by Shine at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda when he was 11. Now 60, he said that it sickens him to think that Shine will get out. He said that all of the victims had received a life sentence from which they would never walk free.
Mr. Cusack also said that twisted paedophiles have no idea that they have done anything wrong and for that reason they will always be a danger to the public.
“I don’t believe these guys ever change. I believe it’s rubbish. I have studied these guys for years and looked at serial killers, serial rapists and once paedophiles abuse, they abuse again and again.”
