Thankfully various people saw sense and a beautiful Live Crib will start on December 8th in St Stephen’s Green.

There will be a donkey, two sheep and a goat alongside the seen of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.

However, one animal welfare campaigner appeared to be very angry over the beautiful Christmas tradition.

Laura Broxson told Virgin Media News that she was very disappointed and shocked to hear that this is still going ahead.

She said that the council made their decision and the OPW shouldn’t be able to go ahead with it.

Broxson, who appeared very angry, said that it’s not appropriate to have live animals in Dublin city centre and that she thinks the Live Crib is on the way out and hopes she doesn’t see it again next year.
