Militia leader found guilty of seditious conspiracy following Trump-incited insurrection in the US

A militia leader has been found guilty of seditious conspiracy following the Trump-incited insurrection in the United States on January 6, 2021.

Stewart Rhodes, founder of the far-right Oath Keepers militia group, may now face up to 20 years in prison for his prominent role in the event.

According to legal records, the group ‘concocted a plan for an armed rebellion’ in an effort to stop the certification of the 2020 election, which the disgraced, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump lost badly to Joe Biden.
