Wimbledon, the All-England club tournament gets underway today with Roger Federer once again favourite to lift the title.
Possibly the most majestic player to ever grass the grass court tournament, Federer is coming to the 2018 Championships in good stead but not on a winning streak as he lost last week unexpectedly.
However, there’s something a little special about the greatest centre court in the world and Roger Federer always rises to the occasion.
Meanwhile Britain’s Andy Murray withdrew from the tournament yesterday around 4pm when he claimed that 5 set matches are still too much.
Murray had hip surgery in January and still isn’t pivoting correctly off his left side possibly needing more physiotherapy before he can properly return to the game.
Coverage starts today at 11:30am on BBC 2. Enjoy!
