The Apollo 11 flight manual is expected to fetch around $9m when it goes under the hammer next week.
The document, which flew to and from the Moon along with the astronauts, contains procedures, checklists, and plenty of hand-written notes jotted down by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
The auction is part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the first moon landing, which took place on July 20, 1969.
