It’s difficult to not grit my teeth while writing this article.
A 50-yr-old man is under investigation by the gardai after his dog was found dead in his car.
The disgraceful incident happened when the man left his dog in the car with the windows fully up while he attended the Bloom festival in the Phoenix park last week.
Temperatures rose to almost 20c inside the car, and the dog with no water, couldn’t breath and died over the 3 hour period.
Gardai are now investigating the incident which could see the man have jail time and possibly a €5,000 fine.
