A man reportedly set his parents’ house ablaze after using a blowtorch to kill spiders.
The incident happened in Fresno, California, in recent days.
The man was allegedly house-sitting his parents’ residence when he spotted a number of spiders around. He proceeded to arm himself with a blowtorch to eliminate the threat. Unfortunately, he managed to set fire to a large portion of the house in the process.
The man got out in time, but caused tens of thousands of dollars of damage to the property.
