If you look skywards tonight, you might see a brighter and seemingly larger moon. August’s Sturgeon Moon will hang for a few hours in the night sky, giving stargazers an awesome sight.
A supermoon is defined as a new or full moon that almost coincides with its perigee, the moon’s closest point to Earth in its orbit around us.
