Argos issues recall for a number of child car seats after major safety flaw is discovered




One of the country’s biggest retail chains Argos have issued a recall for five brands of child car seats after they identified a major potential safety flaw.

The company have advised parents to return any of the five seats below because they believe the seats may not provide adequate protection in the event of a collision. The company have said the seats pose a serious danger to children if there was to be an unexpected car collision, explaining that the major fault is the shell of the seat may crack.

Argos are urging people to return any of the seats as soon as possible, a spokesperson for the retail chain said: “If you have purchased any of the above seats, you should immediately stop using the product and return the car seat to your local Argos store for a full refund. We wish to thank you for your co-operation and apologise for any inconvenience caused by this recall.”
