Arlene Foster spoke candidly to Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show about her life and Brexit

The DUP leader Arlene Foster was interviewed on tonight’s Late Late Show precisely at the time that the United Kingdom exited the European Union at 11pm. Perhaps surprising to some, the interview was mostly jovial with Mrs Foster talking about her childhood, an attempt on her father’s life and even a bomb a school bus she was travelling on as a youngster.

Speaking in depth about Brexit, she said that was happy that the entire UK respected the decision of the electorate and that regardless of Northern Ireland voting to remain as we don’t count individual county votes here.

She said that there are many reasons why Northern Ireland will stay in the United Kingdom, such as economic, cultural, political and the likes of the health sector.

The audience appeared to enjoy the interview with Mrs Foster. Tell us what you think? Tell us your thoughts in the Facebook post and share this with your friends.
