Alert:
A number of Toyota, Hyundai, and Honda cars sold in Ireland have been recalled due to safety concerns.
The models affected are the Toyota Yaris, Starlet, Rav 4, Celica and Tervel/Paseo, the Hyundai i30, and Honda Civic.
A total of 9,485 vehicles are being recalled.
Owners will be contacted shortly and will receive instructions about how to proceed.
