
Armed gardai foiled an attempt to steal a Bank of Ireland ATM in Dunleer, Co. Louth, overnight.
The incident happened on Main Street in Dunleer in the early hours of this morning.
A garda patrol just happened to drive by the location as the theft was in progress. The raiders fled by car and crossed the border into Northern Ireland.
It’s the second time that raiders target that particular ATM, and it’s the second time that the raiders flee empty handed.
