Two armed men showed up to Ladbrokes in Ballyvolane, Co Cork at 7pm yesterday and stole an amount of cash.
One of the males involved pointed a black handgun at the cashier while another, screwdriver in hand kept watch on the door.
Roughly five individuals were in the betting shop at the time of the incident.
Many of the people involved were traumatised, and a huge appeal has made for those present around the area between the Fox and Hound bar and the betting shop to come forward should they have any information.
Information that assists in identifiying the raiders has not been released to the public.
