Armed support unit called to a house in Cork following reports of shots fired




A large contingent of Gardai and the Armed Support Unit were in attendance at a property in Cork overnight, following reports of shots fired.

The incident happened in the Ardmore Avenue area of Knocknaheeney, just after 10.30pm last night.

Locals said that the incident might have been related to an earlier altercation between a group of men in the area.

There have been no arrests yet.
