As Irish people find it impossible to own a house – Government says up to 35,000 new houses need to be built for refugees

It’s getting a bit ridiculous now. Irish people are being left behind in their own country and the government seem determined to ensure that they do everything their EU overlords demand they do – regardless of the consequences to indigenous Irish citizens.

Government Ministers are falling over each other to see who can virtue signal the hardest about housing refugees, and have acknowledged that up to 35,000 new houses need to be built to accommodate refugee demand alone.

But thousands of people have been waiting for a home for a long time, years in some cases, and there was never any apparent rush to have these people housed.

It is also a no-expense-spared affair, with a budget of €2.5 billion being discussed.
