Asthma and hay fever sufferers have been advised to take extra care this weekend as pollen levels are expected to be higher than normal.
In a post on their website The Asthma Society of Ireland, have warned those with either illness to take precautions as weed pollen levels are expected to rise due to the expected warm, dry and humid conditions.
In a post on their website The Asthma Society said: “Many people with asthma suffer from hay fever, whether seasonally or all year round. It’s not uncommon for uncontrolled hay fever to lead to an increase in asthma symptoms and as such, managing your hay fever is a key part of controlling your asthma.”
