At least nine people were killed after a gunman opened fire inside a Coptic church in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The assailants opened fire outside the church of Mar Mina in the Helwan district of the city.
It is understood that there were at least two attackers. One of them was shot dead by security forces.
The church was heavily guarded at the time of the incident.
