
At least nine fatalities have been reported following a blaze at a Romanian hospital.
The fire broke out early on Friday morning at the Constanta’s Hospital for Infectious Diseases in the city of Constanta.
This is the third fire at a medical facility in the country over the past 12 months, raising concerns about the decrepit state of the country’s hospitals.
Notably, Ireland recently acquired a batch of hand-me-down Covid-19 vaccines from Romania, a country that routinely ranks last in healthcare quality in Europe.
