At least one person was killed, and eleven others were injured after a shooting incident near a children’s playground in Brooklyn, NY, earlier today.
The incident happened in the Brownsville playground. It’s understood that an event was underway in and around the area where the shooting occurred.
Local authorities say that a lone gunman carried out the attack. The identity or motivations of the shooter are not known at this time.
