An Austrian man killed his ex-girlfriend, three family members and her new boyfriend in an early morning shootout in a luxury ski resort, police said.
The 25-yr-old man then went to the police and confessed what he did, they said.
His relationship with the 19-yr-old had ended two months earlier, but he appeared around 4 in the morning in the chalet where she and her family lived in Kitzbühel in the Austrian Alps.
After the teenager’s father had told him to leave, he returned home to his own house, grabbed his legally owned pistal held by his brother, and returned to his ex-girlfriend’s house.
When the father opened the door to his ex-girlfriend around 5:30 am, he shot him before shooting at her brother and mother, according to the report he gave the police.
He then climbed up the balcony and shot his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend who were sleeping at the time.
Then he went to the nearest police station and told the police that he had killed five people. He is due in court this week.
