Baby aged 14-months has a lucky escape after dingoes drag him out of a caravan whilst his parents slept

A 14-month-old baby boy has had a lucky escape after he was dragged out of the caravan he was sleeping in by a pack of wild dingoes in Australia.

The infant who thankfully didn’t suffer any serious injuries was saved by his father after he was awakened by his sons’s cries.

It is understood the brave man saved his son after he fought of the pack outside the caravan which was parked on Fraser Island, Queensland.

According to local police the infant began crying after he was dragged by the neck by one of the wild dogs.

Police say if it wasn’t for the quick thinking of the boy’s parents the incident could have been a whole lot worse, but the man’s brave actions prevented a potentially heartbreaking incident.

Officers say the boy has since been transferred to a nearby hospital after he sustained deep cuts to his head, however his overall condition is not thought to be serious.
