A baby found dead with his mother over the weekend may have died of an insulin overdose, according to Gardaí.
The bodies of 11-month-old Vincent Donohoe and his 44-yr-old mother Kate were discovered together in a bed in an upstairs bedroom of their home on Saturday.
A neighbour contacted gardai who arrived at the seen to discover to the two bodies. It’s understood that gardai found a note in relation to the deaths.
The note is said to be quite detailed, outlining a number of issues in relation to the two people who died.
Gardai are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
