The disgraced ex-OCI boss Pat Hickey will soon be on his way back to Ireland, after the required bond of €400,000 was lodged into a Brazilian bank.
It is now a matter of days before Mr. Hickey’s passport is returned to him.
The 71-year-old has been detained in Brazil since becoming a prominent suspect in a Olympic ticket touting scandal last summer.
Mr. Hickey denies any wrongdoing.
