Bank Holiday Weather: Predominantly unsettled conditions might dampen your mood during the Bank Holiday Weekend

The May Bank Holiday will be off to a dodgy start weather wise, with rain forecast for pretty much the whole country at different stages throughout the weekend.

Today, Friday, will remain mostly dry and cool for the time of year, with temperatures barely reaching 10C.

Saturday will start off bright and dry, but wind and rain will spread throughout the day, with temperatures perhaps reaching 13C in places.

Sunday will see more persistent outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, while Bank Holiday Monday’s weather is currently ‘uncertain’, though early indications show the likelihood of dry and sunny conditions, best around the midlands.
