An issue with the payments processing system at Bank of Ireland resulted in delays for a number of customers, whose Social Welfare payments may not reach their accounts on time.
The bank acknowledged the problem, which was resolved at around noon today.
Bank of Ireland issued an statement to say that all due payments had now been processed.
