Ireland’s five main banks (AIB, Bank of Ireland, PTSB, Ulster Bank, and KBC) have agreed to further extend the loan repayment periods for those people caught up in the Covid-19 pandemic.
The banks had already granted a three-month moratorium, which has now been extended to six.
Meanwhile, lockdown measures are likely to remain in place for some time, as the number of Covid-19 cases is still deemed to be ‘too high.’
