Car sales have all but collapsed in Ireland in the wake of Covid-19, as just 280 cars were sold in the entire country during the month of April.
This means a reduction of about 96% in sales, with some brands reporting that they did not sell a single car this month.
Most showrooms remain closed due to Covid-19.
