The leader of an international paedophile ring who was sentenced to spend 40 years behind bars has been killed after being violently beaten by fellow inmates.
According to reports in the US, the convicted beast Christian Marie, 40, was savagely beaten after he became embroiled in a fight with several inmates at a Michigan State prison last Tuesday.
Maire who led an online operation with nine other men that exploited over 100 young girls was sentenced just last month after he was found guilty of a jury of his peers.
It is believed that Maire led an international operation that targeted young girls, who were coerced to perform sexual acts and acts of self-harm in front of a webcam whilst believing they were talking to teenage boys.
The convicted paedophile was captured after one young girl took part in a police operation targeting the group.
It is reported that the girls were forced to strip naked and masturbate whilst in front of the camera, whilst others were asked to cut themselves.
All nine men were convicted last month with each being handed long serving sentences.
Meanwhile the FBI say Marie was attacked on Tuesday, and his death was confirmed on Friday.
They added that Maire’s death is being treated as a murder investigation.
