Man from Co Fermanagh walking 145km to Stormont in protest over the lack of Northern Ireland Government

A Co Fermanagh has set out a 145km walk from Enniskillen to Belfast in protest over the devolved Government in Northern Ireland.

According to BBC News, the man who has grown tired of the two year stalemate at Stormont Dylan Quinn, has said the current situation is not acceptable.

Mr Quinn who hopes to reach Stormont by this afternoon said the point of his long walk is to keep the issue in the forefront of the public mind.

Speaking to BBC News, Mr Quinn said the current situation has become the norm for the people of Northern Ireland and it shouldn’t be as it is completely unacceptable.

Mr Quinn also told the broadcaster that he hoped that his actions will encourage MLA’s in Stormont to put their differences aside and face up to their challenges.

The campaign which started on Saturday comes as the power sharing agreement collapsed almost two years ago on January 9th 2017.
