A mosque in the German capital was destroyed by fire in a suspected arson attack overnight.
Witnesses reported seeing three men wearing hoodies forcing the mosque’s entrance door open before throwing something inside the building. The three men then fled the scene.
No personal injuries were reported, but the mosque was almost completely destroyed.
This is the second mosque targeted by suspected arsonists in Germany in recent days.
A mosque in the small town of Lauffen was attacked recently. A number of Molotov cocktails were thrown into the building, which was being used at the time. Attendees were able to fight the flames in that instance.
