Beware: Public warned to be vigilant after major Measles outbreak

The public have been warned to be extremely vigilant after a measles outbreak in the capital.

It is understood the HSE warning comes after a total of ten cases have been reported since February in Dublin.

In an announcement, the health authority said the outbreak was mainly located in the Parnell Street, Dame Street and Baggot Street areas of Dublin City Centre.

The HSE are warning the public particularly young adults to get vaccinated of they haven’t already done so.

People have been advised to share this information with their friends and to be very vigilant of red spots and blotches on their skin and their children’s skin.
