An exhausted looking Joe Biden was tackled by press outside the White House on Ash Wednesday.
Biden, who declares himself as Catholic, said that he had met with the Cardinal on Wednesday morning and was given Ashes from him.
This prompted a journalist to push Biden on his claims of being Catholic but his extreme support of abortion, even though the Catholic Church explicitly teaches that abortion is wrong under all circumstances.
The Church states that abortion is the taking of a human life and that life starts of conception.
Biden’s wife tried to save him by running to his side and grabbing him. The ever-flustered Biden stumbled out the words “I don’t want to have a theology debate with you”, to which the journalist said; “Why, why not? You’re meant to be Catholic”.
Biden, as usual, ran off with his wife appearing to not have a clue what to say to the question that many Catholics, who actually practice their faith properly, around the world ask.
REPORTER: "As a Catholic, why do you support abortion?"
BIDEN: "I don't want to get in a debate with you on theology, but you know…I'm not going to make a judgement for other people."
