In what was shaping up to be a super ladies final on Wimbledon’s Centre Court during the first set, Spain’s Garbine Muguruza really put the foot down when she was set point down and never looked back.
She won the first set 7-5 and then the second set just was bang, bang, bang. Forehands, backhands, serves, everything was working perfectly.
Muguruza won the second set in straight games 6-0. Venus said she will be back and that her sister Serena will be back also.
Tomorrow the “best” player Roger Federer will take on Marin Cilic in their final.
