Jewayne M. Price, (22), the mass shooter suspect arrested for wounding 14 people, nine of whom were shot has been placed on HOUSE ARREST on a bail bond of just $25,000 on Saturday.
Price has received additional charges, which now include nine counts of aggravated assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and attempted murder, as well as his initial charge of unlawful carrying of a pistol.
According to PJmedia Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said “We catch people, they serve a little bit of time, they get out and they get right back doing what they normally do and that’s [to] commit crimes. The criminal justice system needs to do better.”
Jewayne Price, a suspect in a South Carolina mall shooting Saturday, which left 14 wounded, has been released on house arrest and ordered to wear an ankle monitor after a judge set a $25,000 surety bond.

Jewayne Price was denied bail Tuesday afternoon. It was not immediately clear if this was the same judge that gave him the $25,000 bond.
